I visited your store almost a year ago. You personally helped me find the perfect engagement ring for my girlfriend, Leah. You were just fantastic, and I’ve recommended you to everyone I know.

After our return from Florida after the new year, we became very busy and I never got to send you any pictures or tell you how it went – and while going through some pictures this evening, I remembered I owed you.

We arrived in Florida on Christmas eve, surprised my girlfriend’s family, and got settled in. I let a couple people in on the secret, that I had planned to propose on the beach on Christmas Day. Since the event was so exciting, they all invited themselves along – so I had lots of people taking pictures!

We showed up to the beach on Christmas Morning, pretending we were going to spend the day at the beach relaxing. Leah had never even seen the ocean before!

We waded into the water with her aunts and uncles behind us, snapping pictures. I asked her if the ocean was everything she thought it would be. She wasn’t totally paying attention to what I was saying, but she vividly remembers me saying, “You know how Emperor Penguins find the shiniest rock on the beach, and present it to the one they want to spend the rest of their lives with?”, and pulled the ring out of my pocket and asked “Will you marry me?”.
She immediately began crying and we began to laugh. I had to ask again, “Will you marry me, baby?” and she said “YES!”

We were the talk of Delray Beach. People still comment on the ring to this day, it’s the shiniest thing in any room. It catches the light and immediately draws your eye.
